GOODBYE HORSES

The meaning: In an Eastern philosophy "horses"are symbolic/representative of the 5 senses - the things that keep us tied to the physical/material plane of existence. When you can transcend the limitations of these senses and achieve a higher level of consciousness, you are leaving the "horses"behind - "flying over them." Can be someone who is so affected by (A loss? A breakup?) they decide to give up the things that keep them tied to this world by emotion.

That might be a bit much for my totally random blog, but let's at least start with a purpose. What is the point? To define life, to probe human existense, to delve into the psyche of a first world worker bee, to rave about the benefits of renters insurance or the melting ice caps and how that girl on Laguna Beach is like such a bia, and how it's so hard to find a good bagel or parking in SF, and don't you hate how people on cell phones don't care when you stare at them with the stink eye, and politicians......and, and, and...

there is no point. the point is to just be and let the point be definded as that happens

You have to hear it to really get the full impact, but this song sums it all up very nicely, seems like the perfect place to start this shout into the void. The key is, it sets the tone for a smart aleck like me, because you see, i'm not cooler than you or anyone else....as far as you know.
